I’m Jhenny Laya, a Venezuelan photographer and visual storyteller based in Doha. My work moves between fashion, events, documentary storytelling, and food/product photography—always with an editorial eye and a social-first sensibility.
I started in food photography, drawn to the way light, texture, and color can translate flavor into an image you can almost feel. That foundation still guides everything I shoot today—from styled fashion frames and portraits, to the energy of live events, to documentary moments that unfold naturally. I’ve worked with restaurants, agencies, and media platforms, delivering creative and professional content for social media and digital campaigns.
At the core, I’m a documentalist: I look for what’s real—gesture, atmosphere, and the details that carry emotion. When you frame a dish or a moment just right, you don’t just document it—you transform it into a story.
